Information about the position
As Carrier Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing carrier performance, identifying gaps, and working with carriers and internal teams to improve operational performance, processes and outcomes such as compensation retrievals.
You will be part of the Carrier Success team, working closely with Product, Network teams, and external carrier partners to drive continuous improvement and support better operational performance.
In this position, you’ll
- Monitor and analyze carrier performance against agreed metrics and contractual standards, providing insights to support decision-making and partnership governance.
- Identify performance gaps and operational issues, lead improvement actions, and manage performance review routines including meeting preparation, delivery, and follow-up.
- Ensure carriers clearly understand contract terms, support negotiations in Vinted’s best interest, and lead a smooth onboarding and setup process to ensure readiness for Product integration.
- Manage the end-to-end claims process with carriers, improving procedures and automation in partnership with internal teams while maintaining service and quality standards.
- Own compensation retrieval performance by working toward set targets, reviewing disputed compensation lists, and taking corrective action to improve recovery rates.
- Communicate compensation policies clearly to carriers, analyze trends and root causes, and partner with internal teams and carriers to implement improvements.
About you
- Proven experience in operations or carrier management roles.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights and improvement recommendations.
- Proficient in using advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets, utilising these tools to gain insights and make informed decisions from data.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared performance goals and drive follow-through on actions.
- Able to prioritize immediate needs while contributing to longer-term improvements.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English (level C1/C2).
- Experience with claims processes and/or compensation management would be considered as an advantage
- Experience BI dashboards (such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker), SQL would be considered as an advantage.

The salary range for this position is € 2767 - € 3742 gross per month.
