Information about the position
This is a senior leadership position within the People function, designed to ensure people strategy is a key enabler of business performance. Embedded within a functional leadership team and supporting member(s) of the Group Leadership Team (GLT), the Senior People Business Partner brings strong commercial awareness, financial insight, and organisational expertise to influence key decisions. The role ensures that the People agenda delivers long-term value in alignment with Vinted’s strategic and financial priorities.
In this position, you’ll
- Act as the principal strategic People partner to one or more senior functional leadership teams, aligning people strategies with long-term business goals
- Work closely with GLT member(s) and their teams to shape organisational structure, workforce planning, talent priorities, and performance outcomes. Lead functional change initiatives and post-merger integrations
- Bring commercial and people insight to resource planning, capability development, and organisational design conversations, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions
- Collaborate closely with functional leadership teams to embed people strategy into core business planning
- Lead and facilitate key people processes across the supported business area(s), including People Growth & Impact Cycle ratings calibrations, compensation reviews, succession planning, and talent reviews, ensuring alignment with organisational performance and future capability needs
- Assess needs and coordinate delivery of interventions from specialist teams in People Growth and Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and People Operations
- Interface with Country People Managers, who own local employee relations and compliance to ensure positive outcomes in ER cases. Ensure alignment of strategic People efforts across jurisdictions
- Provide foresight through data, trends, and organisational insight to guide senior decision-making
- Translate global People initiatives into function-specific plans, ensuring effective implementation and business relevance; anticipate and mitigate the macro and micro impacts of these initiatives. Challenge assumptions in the People function and in respective businesses
- Represent the supported business area(s) as a member of the People Leadership Team (PLT) — actively contributing to the shaping of overall People strategy and priorities across the organisation. Provide business-informed insight and influence to help set enterprise-wide People direction, drive cross-functional alignment, and elevate the impact of the People function
- Maintain a dotted line relationship to the relevant business leader(s) while formally reporting into the VP People
About you
- Master’s degree or equivalent higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or related field
- A highly experienced HR leader with a strong background in strategic business partnering, trusted by C-level executives to deliver impactful people strategies and support decision-making at the highest levels
- Demonstrated leadership experience - leading a team and/or cross-functional project teams large scale initiatives across multiple geographies (minimum 3 direct reports or large-scale initiatives)
- Expertise in organisational design, talent management and leadership development. Familiarity with labour law in our respective countries
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, balancing commercial needs with people-centric strategies
- Strong business acumen, understanding industry dynamics, financial implications and market trends; able to analyse data and develop practical solutions whilst being able to simplify complex information into easily understood plans
- Exceptional skills in negotiation, conflict resolution and strategic problem-solving
- Comfortable working in high-complexity, high-ambiguity environments
- Exceptional communication skills and able to work in a cross-cultural environment whilst building sustainable relationships across all levels of the organisation

The salary range for this position is € 6,833 - € 9,825 gross per month.
