This effort directly aligns with our mission to make second-hand the first choice worldwide.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be instrumental in redesigning crucial components of Vinted's internal ticketing platform. This platform is essential for support agents who manage and resolve member issues. You will collaborate with the team to develop scalable, automated solutions that improve workflow efficiency and enable quick problem resolution. This commitment includes leveraging machine learning and AI for task automation and intelligent ticket routing, thus creating an integrated workspace for agents to access necessary tools and information seamlessly.

Your contributions will significantly impact agent productivity and member satisfaction. • Enjoy end-to-end ownership of features: from identifying and analyzing problems, to designing robust solutions, implementing, and deploying your work.
  • Collaborate closely with other developers through pairing sessions, design deep dives, and code reviews.
  • Join an ambitious and high-performing team of engineers who strive for excellence and never settle for mediocre solutions or results.
  • Take part in extracting and building new services, helping the team move toward greater autonomy.
  • Work with a healthy mix of battle-tested and emerging technologies, such as Ruby on Rails, Vitess, Redis, Kafka, Vespa, and more.
  • Instrument and monitor your deployed code using Grafana, Datadog, and Kibana, all based on the OpenTelemetry standard.
